The Cartographers of Grace
The Aetherios begins with The Cartographers of Grace. The first volume is in progress, and its opening places an apprentice named Kellen in the Cartographers’ Tower of Cael Ortha.
Eilador’s balance is unravelling. Failing stone, broken roads, and boundaries that no longer hold make the decay something that can be observed and measured. Charting that world also means confronting what still binds it together.
This introduction stays with the opening premise. The story’s later discoveries belong to the book.
The volumes ahead
The Weight of Wings is the second volume, also in progress. Its title has been shared; further story details have not yet been presented here.
Two more books are planned for the series. Their titles remain unrevealed. No publication dates have been announced for the four volumes.
The compass frames used throughout this site give the volumes a connected visual identity, while their centers distinguish each book. They are website emblems, not representations of finished covers.
Between the books
The atlas, chronology, and visual archive offer different ways into the same world. The map introduces Eilador’s revealed quarter; the history follows the balance of Axios and Charis; the artwork preserves the original map in full.
This journal gathers short, spoiler-light companion notes alongside those experiences. It is a place to return to a name, a principle, or a part of the world before continuing onward.
